1. Enjoy the world famous Monkey Mia Dolphin Experience

Watch the daily dolphin feeding from 7.45am - 12pm at Monkey Mia Conservation Park and learn their fascinating history.

2. Explore the breathtaking colours of Francois Peron National Park

Adventure into the northern half of the Peron Peninsula and visit Skipjack Point to see an array of wildlife and stop at Cape Peron where the red desert meets the sea.

3. Have a soak in the Artesian Hot Tub at the Peron Homestead

Relax your muscles after exploring the National Park in the naturally heated 38-40 degree Celsius Artesian water. Make use of the free barbecue and take a stroll around the old shearing sheds. *Please check the Francois Peron National Park entry road conditions before driving to the Peron Homestead.

4. Take a stroll around Little Lagoon

Only a five minute drive from Denham, go for a swim, snorkel, SUP, kitesurf, use the free BBQ facilities or sit back, relax and watch the sunset from the shore of the lagoon.

5. Visit the Shark Bay World Heritage Discovery & Visitor Centre 

Learn more about this fascinating World Heritage Area in the World Heritage Discovery Museum, experience the free HMAS Sydney II memorial, Fire on the Water exhibit and 3D film, enjoy the rotating art exhibitions in the Rose de Freycinet Gallery, get all your local information from the friendly team and grab a souvenir from the gift shop.

6. Walk along the boardwalk at Eagle Bluff

Lookout and try your luck at spotting sharks, rays, turtles and beautiful views across Shark Bay.

7. Check out Shell Beach

Made up solely of Shark Bay cockle shells and one of only two beaches in the world of its kind. It stretches 120km with shells up to 10m deep!

8. Visit Steep Point, the most Westerly point of Mainland Australia

Take a drive to Edel Land National Park if you are up for a 4WD adventure. Steep point is located four hours drive from Denham.

9. Visit Dirk Hartog Island National Park

Dirk Hartog is the longest island in Western Australia, and offers stunning natural beauty and untamed wilderness for camping, snorkelling and your holiday adventures. Projects like "Return to 1616" are important for the survival on endemic species and the conservation of the island.

10. Visit the Stromatolites at Hamelin Pool

Best viewed at low tide, the Hamelin Pool boardwalk offers excellent views of the stromatolites. *Please note, the boardwalk is currently closed to the public.
