Kayak & Wildlife Adventure
Enjoy a fun filled day with lots of wildlife on this amazing kayaking adventure exploring the magnificent Shark Bay World Heritage Area. This tour is very educational and explores why Shark Bay is listed as a World Heritage Area and why local Aboriginal people refer to the area as a 'strong spiritual place'.
After we pick you up, we enjoy a comfortable 4wd adventure to our kayaking destination. Along the way we stop to look for bush foods and learn about medicinal plants and uses, animal tracking and much more.
Once we arrive at our kayaking destination, we unload the kayaks, put on our safety vests and conduct a safety induction then paddle out across beautiful crystal clear waters. Spot turtles, rays, sharks, fish, birds and the elusive dugong when in season and other amazing marine life. Enjoy a relaxing swim or a casual snorkel in one of the many beautiful shallow bays or walk through spectacular landscapes.
This tour is conducted with a hands-on approach and is suitable for all ages. It finishes with a relaxing soak in the hot tub at Peron Homestead, before we drop you off at your accommodation fully satisfied.
Stand-Up Paddle Board Tours
This is our NEWEST ECO ADVENTURE and is another perfect way to explore Gutharraguda (local Aboriginal name for Shark Bay, meaning "Two Waters"). Get a group of friends together and ESCAPE with us as we visit amazing locations. Travel back in time in the place where the Red Sand from the desert meets the Blue Waters of the Indian Ocean. "Have fun and get fit at the same time".
Stand Up Paddle (SUP) is a fantastic watersport combining the skills of surfing and kayaking. It has roots in ancient Hawaiian culture where the Polynesians would paddle handmade timber canoes and rafts across expanses of ocean whilst standing up.
SUP’s promote balance, strength and general fitness. It is excellent for surfers and non-surfers alike, as it provides an isometric workout that strengthens your core muscle groups, while giving you a fun and exciting way to view the natural surroundings.
In the first 30 minutes of the tour we’ll demonstrate how to master the paddle board and this unique sport. All equipment is supplied with a choice of board for both beginners and the more experienced.
